Introducing "2 X-treme"

August 2020: Clean X-treme would like to announce a new addition to its fleet of response vehicles: “2 X-treme” has been added to assist us with biohazard clean-up and our special operation teams. Over the last six months, 2 X-treme is completely refurbished, renovated, and upgraded. We invested hundreds of hours in labor and thousands of dollars in upgrades, modifications, and equipment. 2 X-treme was originally a hazardous materials truck for the Denver Colorado Fire Department and previously named “Hamer 1” which assisted their Hazardous Response Team.

This specialized truck is a 2002 Pierce Enforcer with a custom cab, command center, light tower, PTO generator, and specialty compartmentalization. We have converted the truck to support our biohazard clean-up services, our body removal team, our command support capabilities, our mass casualty support and response, and our rehabilitation team. It is equipped with a complete command center with two flat screen smart TVs with computer and phone screen mirroring, printer/copier/fax, Wi-Fi booster, weather station, green command light, conditioned AC power, DC power, heat, and air conditioning. The truck is equipped with a 20KW PTO generator which supports the entire truck and a Wilbert remote control telescopic light tower on the roof with six light heads for a total of 9,000 watts. Scene lighting is also provided on both sides and the rear of the truck. It has 200’ cord reels on each side and the rear walk-in storage area has a built-in refrigerator. It is also equipped with a 20’ side awning for shade.

There is massive storage inside and out with many slide-out tool trays and tip down shelving for easy access to all the diverse tools to assist our specialty teams. Automatic air steps provide easy access to the command and crew areas. Most of the lighting was upgraded to LED lights and an entirely new graphics package was added to promote the services of Clean X-treme. This truck is heavily loaded with all the necessary equipment needed for our teams to fully function in their vast capabilities.
